The two-day course is designed to improve integration between law enforcement, firefighters, telecommunications and emergency services (EMS) during active attacks/shooters. The course is designed to improve the safety and survivability of victims of active/shooter attacks and to increase efficiency, coordination and integration of resources between law enforcement, firefighting, telecommunications and emergency medical services to respond to these events. In addition to the training course, ALERRT offers a train-the-trainer program on the AAIR course. This forty (40) hour course will produce certified instructors who will receive the necessary assistance to deliver the courses in their area.
